Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work on Atelo. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Atelo is a product owned and operated by Kamdithecreator Ventures, a business registered in Nigeria.

There are two different kinds of payment on Atelo, and they are refunded differently. Please read the section that applies to you.

1. Atelo subscription fees (paid by fashion houses to Atelo)

When a fashion house subscribes to a paid plan ("Emerging" or "Atelier"), the subscription fee is paid to Atelo and processed through our payment provider.

  • Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed. We do not refund the current or past months.
  • Annual subscriptions may be refunded in full within 7 days of the annual charge. After 7 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable. To request an annual refund within the 7-day window, email us at support@getatelo.com from your account email.
  • We may also issue a refund where it is required by applicable law, or where we have explicitly offered one in writing.

Approved subscription refunds are returned to the original payment method, through our payment processor, within the timeframe set by that processor and your bank.

2. Booking and consultation payments (paid by clients to fashion houses)

When a client books and pays for a consultation or fitting through a fashion house's Atelo page, that payment goes directly to the fashion house's own connected payment account. Atelo does not hold, receive, or take a cut of these payments.

Because of this:

  • Any cancellation or refund of a booking or consultation payment is handled directly by the fashion house with its client, according to that fashion house's own cancellation and refund rules.
  • Each fashion house sets its own deposit, cancellation, and refund terms. Clients should review the fashion house's stated terms before booking, and contact the fashion house directly for any refund request.
  • Refunds of booking payments are paid by the fashion house to the client directly. Atelo does not issue, fund, or guarantee these refunds.

If you are a client seeking a refund for a booking, please contact the fashion house you booked with. If you cannot reach them, you may email support@getatelo.com and we will try to help facilitate contact, but the refund decision and payment remain with the fashion house.

3. Chargebacks and disputes

Each fashion house is responsible for chargebacks, disputes, and reversals raised against its own booking and consultation transactions. Where Atelo is required by a payment processor to fund a refund, chargeback, or reversal on a fashion house's behalf, the fashion house agrees to reimburse Atelo promptly, and Atelo may offset such amounts against future payouts or subscription credits, as set out in our Terms of Service.
